Tibetan Children’s Village Alumni Association of Minnesota (TCVAAMn) is organising a Tibetan Idol competition during the four days teachings of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama/Tenshug (Long Life Ceremony) in Madison, WI, USA in this summer of 2008. The venue is at:

Our sole purpose is to raise funds for the ongoing initiated Tibetan College in Bangalore/India and at the same time, to provide some entertainment (escape) time within this social gathering remembering our patriot brothers and sisters in Tibet who are suffering under the Chinese communist regime. Therefore, we are asking your support and cooperation to make this event a productive and an enjoyable for every one.

Participants must be a Tibetan, above 15 years and older. They will be preselected from the pool of applicants based on authentic talents with prior involvements. The criteria for the selection will be only based on vocal and singing capability.
